Locklink Portable Programming Unit

The LockLink is a battery operated portable unit that makes it simple to reprogram locks or upload lock events from the Entry Log audit trail in the lock.

Simple Re-programming

LockLink is a battery operated portable unit that makes it simple to reprogram locks or upload the last 700 lock events from the Entry Log audit trail in the lock. Events include successful and failed access attempts, use of deadbolt, door position, and use of metal key override.

Password Protection

The system remains secure while using the LockLink unit, as all transactions are password protected. The LockLink software can also be used on a laptop computer in place of the LockLink unit if desired.

System Reports

The PERSONA system and Campus 1000 software provide easy access to a broad range of system reports including:

  • Keycard holders with valid keycards
  • Events from a specific lock, transferred from the portable LockLink interrogation unit
  • Previous keycard holders whose keycards have expired
  • Keycard holders with access through a particular door
  • Which doors a given keycard holder has access through and when
  • How many access patterns are available in a specific lock
  • Which keycards have been invalidated throughout campus
  • Which keycards will expire in the next “x” number of days and would need to be replaced
  • The lock setup and characteristics of a specific lock

 Audit reports record events

An audit report of a particular lock will detail the last 800 events in that lock. These events include successful or failed access attempts, door position, use of deadbolt, and use of metal key override.

Such reports help system administrators keep up with the activities at individual locks throughout campus as well as keycard holders entered into and deleted from the system.
