SARGENT campus locks survive fire
Fire severely damaged an unoccupied apartment complex on the campus of the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay this past June while students where away for summer recess. The building is comprised of 17 units that provided housing for 63 students. Investigators determining the cause of the fire were able to rule out arson, thanks in part to access data that was retrieved from the still-functioning SARGENT Passport 1000 powered by PERSONA locksets used throughout the building.
